Legislator Flotteron Applauds Lodestar: A Night of Recognition

Legislator Steven J. Flotteron recently acknowledged the commendable work of Lodestar Children’s Services during the “Then & Now” fundraiser at the CM Performing Arts Center in Oakdale. Established in 2016 in Suffolk County, Lodestar has expanded its reach to include all of Long Island, Queens, and Brooklyn. The nonprofit organization focuses on delivering mental health care services to children aged 0-21 and their caregivers, right in the comfort of their homes. The primary aim is to prevent institutionalization, offering children a better chance at enduring positive outcomes through learning in the safety of their familiar environments.

In the image captured at the event, Lodestar Children’s Services’ Development Coordinator, Noelle Arebalo, and Board President, Christen Lambert, joined forces with Legislator Steven J. Flotteron and the Founder & Executive Director of Lodestar Children’s Services, James Regan. The recognition is a testament to Lodestar’s commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of youth and their families, bringing mental health care where it’s needed most—home and community.
