Lodestar is thrilled to host its inaugural Wheels for Wellness, a family-friendly cycling event in Babylon Village, New York, raising donations to enhance and expand behavioral health services for children in the community. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and philanthropy as we pedal together for the well-being of our youth.
Join us for an exciting day of cycling, delicious food truck offerings, and fantastic entertainment provided by 94.3 The Shark FM’s DJ Brian Orlando at Lodestar’s inaugural Wheels for Wellness event! Taking place on Saturday, May 4th, the cycling event kicks off at 10:30 am, followed by a post-event celebration from 11 am to 2 pm at Babylon Village Gazebo.
This family-friendly event promises fun for all ages, with volunteer opportunities and non-cycling activities available for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a cycling enthusiast or simply looking for a day of entertainment, there’s something for everyone at Wheels for Wellness.
All proceeds from the event support Lodestar’s mission to provide high-quality mental health services and contribute to the development of our new youth center in Farmingdale. Your participation helps us make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in need while promoting mental health awareness in our community.

Certainly! You may participate by any means of non-motorized wheels or you may choose to participate as a walker or runner. Additionally, participation in the cycling event is optional. All are welcome to join in the celebration at the Babylon Village Gazebo for FREE. Food and beverages will be available through our vendors, providing an opportunity for you to relax, socialize with other participants, and listen to our guest speakers.
Forming a team is a fantastic idea! Gather the names of your team members and click on the “Register” link at the top of this page. You may sign your whole team up at once, or you may create your team and encourage your friends and family to sign up as “pinch hitters”. They will then be able to write in the team name in the following section, allowing them to be added to your team. Please consider encouraging others to contribute to your team’s donation link. If you are confused about this process, please get in touch with Noelle, our Development Coordinator, at NArebalo@lodestarcs.org. She will guide you through the team formation process and provide additional details.
Yes, there is! Lodestar Children’s Services is a registered non-profit organization, making your donations eligible for tax incentives. You can include your contributions when reporting your taxes.
